Punter's Club Update

A quick update of the winnings and standings for the punter's club after two rounds. Its has been a fairly steady and some what expected start to this the 3rd year of the PC. Continuing on his previous form mr consistent pops has maintained his high strike rate early and flown out of the blocks with two $100 plus returns from his two bets. Becoming the clear cut leader and early favourite to regain the illustrious CDRGG shield (pictured below). A Gear has also been consistent picking up where he left off last year with a return of $10 from his two weeks of betting. Maintaining the 'outstandingly' bad form that has seem him pick up the wooden spoon in both years of the PC. The surprise packet early has been the Greek who has had two decent returns to be second on the money earnings list. This is a surprise in that Greeky has actually put his money in and had a bet. Meanwhile last years champion Bucky has again gotton off to a slow start and it looks like he'll need to jag another win on keno to challenge the decent tippers for the title. Finally Quinny and Bignuts are in a tussel for 3rd spot after reasonable returns early. However it appears that nuts' is back to true form after leading for the vast majority of last year only to be robbed of the title by bucky. Leading many experts and lay punters to the conclusion that last year was nuts' best chance to hold aloft the shield. As such he will struggle with confidence and subsquently have to fight hard to beat gaz for the dreaded wooden spoon this year. The next update will be at the halfway point of the year.
