Pirates Propaganda #1

Before we begin with Pirates Propaganda lets just clarify a few things. Firstly Leary was simply asked his thoughts for the 3rd origin and this is what he sent. Clearly he secretly wants to be apart of the CDRGG and have his thoughts actually read on a decent well run blog. Fair enough, who could blame him? Thus Leary, we at the CDRGG would be more than happy to accomodate you and bring some joy into your life. So you keep sending them and we'll keep posting them. Maybe one day Pirates Propaganda will rival Greeky's Gibberish in the thought (& insult) provoking stakes. So that said here it is, enjoy.

Well I have sold out, the lure of big bucks have seen me turn to the darkside to write for the CDRGG in Pops' vein quest to bring some credability to the CDRGG blog. Anyway here is what is going to be probably the most unbiased review of games 1 & 2 and preview to origin 3.

After a few weeks in the shadows of the FIFA World Cup, origin is once again on the back page pages and lead story on your evening news. It seems like an eternity ago that accidental hero Brett Finch potted one of the finest field goals in league history to lead the blues to an unexpected victory in game 1. The boys from Surf Park go absolutley mental at the GUGC Uni bar and smash more piss than the Parramatta Eels.

Come game 2 the NSW selectors have forgotten that Finch & Anasta are toilet and neglect the fact that the blues forwards won game 1 and pick two of the worst halves in origin history. Qld come out on fire and absolutely smash the blues with SP tv stars leaving the venue well before the game is complete. Thankgod for the socceroos mania & the maroons victory is virtually swept under the carpet at SP HQ.

Come game 3 & the members of SP are once again spread over the land (not as bad as last year where we had members in NZ, Carins, UK, Melbourne) this year a few boys will be smashing piss and chicks on the sunny coast, Bah will be at home on the coast and myself & Old Man Robbo representing their states at the game inMelbourne. The blues have booted spastics Anasta & Finch and replaced with Gower and Gaz. Personally i think this is a bit of a risk as i don't see gaz as a 5/8th and we will see Hornby playing a lot of second reciever & possibly even starting the game here. Paul Gallen has been brought in & will add much needed starch where soft cock Andrew Ryan fell short. The maroons have named a mainly unchanged lineup and look dangerous with the only ghanges for kiwi KHunt and that wanker Hodges who have done heartlidges replaced by pesident Clinton & Wesser. Can cat Webb aim up once again or has he had his once a series game, i'm tipping a quiet game from him & the maroons bench but with Petro & Price leading the way up front to stay in the game for the first 20 mins of each half. Its going to be a tight one ladies and gentlemen, i'm picking the blues by 8 with ADD Willie Mason man of the match. Look out Melbourne here i come!
